Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America is an actress and a singer. She is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Kristen is Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen discovered her talents in entertainment at an early age. She went to her audition in 1992 and got a role on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was signed by her mother as an agent at the age of was only thirteen years old. She was then cast for newspaper ads and TV commercials. Also, she began acting lessons in private at the age of 13. Bell played a brief, uncredited role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the drama and music club. She won the starring role of Dorothy at her school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Bell studied musical theatre at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell completed her studies in 2001, left her studies at the university to play her role as Becky in Tom Sawyer. That same year, she was in Pootie Tang, but the scene where she made an appearance was cut. In the end, there is only a credit sequence. Bell was in the film with Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in The Crucible Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
